Suzanne S. Hamilton

Suzanne S. Hamilton is the hedge fund manager of Legacy Capital Fund LP, and founder and president of Legacy Asset Management Inc. an RIA. Ms. Hamilton has been managing portfolios for 11 years and is dedicated to pushing the edge of innovation in her field. Ms. Hamilton’s more than eighteen years of experience in sophisticated computer security and mathematics with emphasis on risk management, have culminated in the development of proprietary algorithms designed to automate the management of risk. After extensive research, Ms. Hamilton’s efforts have evolved from one based on a long-only strategy into the integration of numerous independent models supporting both a long and short strategy for global markets, commodities, fixed income, and currencies.

Ms. Hamilton’s dedication and cutting-edge innovation with liquid and more transparent alternative investment strategies make her a highly-rated speaker at financial conferences. She was a participant in the CalPERS conference of top women in finance, a panelist at the Inside ETFs Conference, a panelist at the Global ETF 2009 Awards Dinner and Workshop, a panelist at the Inside Commodities Conference, a panelist at the FA Symposium, and a panelist at the Super Bowl of Indexing Conference.

Ms. Hamilton is the founder and former CEO of SECURIX, Inc. and has provided security services and product evaluations over the years to well-recognized firms and organizations such as Microsoft, SAIC, VISA Interactive, FAA, IBM, McDonnell Douglass, and the Pentagon.

Ms. Hamilton received both her BS and MS in Computer Science and Mathematics from The American University. She currently holds a Series 65 license.
